What Is Plot Armor

In film and fiction, plot armor is the invisible force that keeps the protagonist alive when the story demands it. The bullets miss. The blade glances. The fall is survived. Other characters die. The protagonist doesn't, because the story isn't finished with them yet. Some people walk through the world like extras. Others walk through it like they've read the script.
